Direct permanent employment with German employers (no temporary leasing model)
Depending on your profile: positions in acute hospitals, elderly care and rehabilitation facilities
Starting salary: approx. €2,800–€3,300 gross/month
Average salary: approx. €3,300–€4,000 gross/month
With experience/specialization: €4,000 gross/month or more
In many institutions, additional pay for night and weekend shifts
“Gross/month” means before taxes and social contributions.
Completed nursing education of at least three years, recognized in your home country
Professional experience, ideally at least 2 years
Language: You may apply without German
To start work: German B1 (certificate) is required
If you may travel to Germany with B1, you will usually provide a B2 certificate within about 3 months after arrival (depends on employer and requirements)
Our support is free for you. In addition, your costs will be reimbursed — up to a total of €2,256.
German course A1–B1: up to €900
Recognized B1 exam: up to €259
German course B2: up to €300
Recognized B2 exam: up to €259
Covers: legalizations/certificates, embassy attestations, mailing of documents, visa, opening a bank account, and required vaccinations.
Note on reimbursements: Reimbursements are generally made after you start working and upon submission of the required proof. Exam fees are typically reimbursed only when the exam has been passed successfully (usually one attempt).
