Nurse Positions in Germany for International Candidates — Language Training and Visa Costs Covered

Positions & Areas of Assignment

  • Direct permanent employment with German employers (no temporary leasing model)

  • Depending on your profile: positions in acute hospitals, elderly care and rehabilitation facilities


Salary (Guideline)

  • Starting salary: approx. €2,800–€3,300 gross/month

  • Average salary: approx. €3,300–€4,000 gross/month

  • With experience/specialization: €4,000 gross/month or more

  • In many institutions, additional pay for night and weekend shifts

“Gross/month” means before taxes and social contributions.


Requirements

  • Completed nursing education of at least three years, recognized in your home country

  • Professional experience, ideally at least 2 years

  • Language: You may apply without German

    • To start work: German B1 (certificate) is required

    • If you may travel to Germany with B1, you will usually provide a B2 certificate within about 3 months after arrival (depends on employer and requirements)


Language Course Funding & Reimbursement of Costs

Our support is free for you. In addition, your costs will be reimbursed — up to a total of €2,256.

Language-learning funding in Georgia & Myanmar (up to €1,718 reimbursed)

  • German course A1–B1: up to €900

  • Recognized B1 exam: up to €259

  • German course B2: up to €300

  • Recognized B2 exam: up to €259

Additional reimbursement for the visa process — up to €538

Covers: legalizations/certificates, embassy attestations, mailing of documents, visa, opening a bank account, and required vaccinations.

Note on reimbursements: Reimbursements are generally made after you start working and upon submission of the required proof. Exam fees are typically reimbursed only when the exam has been passed successfully (usually one attempt).


The Process

  1. Online registration and CV upload

  2. Document review and personal interview

  3. German language training to B1 and a recognized B1 exam

  4. Presentation to suitable employers, interview preparation and support

  5. Visa, work permit, recognition; in parallel B2 course and exam if needed

  6. Arrival in Germany and start of work; support until you pass the exam (target: within 12 months)
